Men’s Spiritual Life Retreat in Vienna
One of the roles I have in GEM focuses on the spiritual life our missionaries — something that for me is sheer pleasure to do. Missionaries already have a significant walk with God, yet it is phenomenal to provide them an environment where they can focus exclusively on their relationship with God.
These saints give more than they can imagine to reach others for Jesus, so carving out extended time to be with God doesn’t come easy. Many come exhausted. Yet what God did and how He worked during the week boggles my mind. The comments as to the conversations they had with God when we debriefed were simply astounding.
We had beautiful weather in a fantastic setting near Vienna, Austria in St. Polten, a nearby town. For November, we couldn’t have asked for better weather.
I experienced a strong sense of God’s presence both with me and among the men. Thanks for praying!
