Leading in God’s Footprints
I just returned from meetings in Kandern, Germany that gave us reason to pause, rejoice and celebrate what God is doing in our midst! We are seeing huge progress in seeing discipleship movements come to the major city centers of Europe, with 10 cities already engaged in route to 50. We saw 71 decisions for Christ in London, 41 in Athens, we’ve seen groups multiplying in Czech, Sweden, Germany, Bulgaria, and exciting beginnings in Rome, and Paris.
Aside from that, GEM is seeing an increased interest in churches that desire deep partnership, an increase in interest of those seeking to serve overseas, growth in internationalization, and people wanting to pray for disciple-making movements.
There was much to do in the midst of all the celebration as our plate is full with the goal of seeing God ignite disciple-making movements in 50 cities throughout Europe within the next 5 years. So we did discuss strategies for the future.
I thought I was just going to another meeting and it turned out I was sent to a party celebrating God’s work! It is neat to follow in God’s footprints.
