Doug and Lisa Return to Kraków
Lisa and I had the privilege of returning to Poland and Kraków, the city in which we became engaged. While that city holds a lot of memories for us, we were there to facilitate a spiritual life retreat on the discerning the will of God.
We had an amazing group, and one of the people participating came from Lisa’s disciple-making small group when we lived in Poznan. Having Gosia there was an extra special blessing for us both.
We did a few things different, and some people wanted us to keep their cell phones. They were there to meet God — that they did! We had one of the days in total silence (we use silence, but not necessarily for 24 hours). God amazed us through what He did in their lives. Some of the reports indicated some substantial transfomation occurred in how they understand God’s leading.
Lisa and I always count it a privilege to facilitate these retreats, so thank you for praying for not only us, but those who came.
