Mom Celebrates 29!
What a day! We spent it doing what Lisa wanted to do, so we went out and spent some time with friends. First, however, we did manage to eat breakfast and open presents. In fact, in the picture above, we’re just about ready to celebrate with gifts.
Later that day, we went out to eat at a favorite restaurant with friends. Plans were in the mix for a movie after we celebrated with an amazing cake that Natasha (our short-term GEM colleague) made. It was an amazing piece of art -- oreos, chocolate, white frosting, with appropriate decorations. The cake was a hit, as was the conversation -- so much so, we never made it to the movie.
It was an amazing day for a wonderful woman, with whom I am very glad to share life!
