A Good-bye Picnic for Michael
Time really flies. For Lisa and me it is hard to believe both kids have flown from the nest.
If you’re looking for Michael in the picture, he’s in the middle, but a shadow is over his face.
We wanted Michael to have good closure with his friends before leaving in early June. All we had in mind as a drop-by picnic for a couple of hours. 
Michael posted an invitation on Facebook for a total of five hours. I thought no one would stick around for that long, but they did! Of course, not everyone, and lots of people came and went.
Yet it was fun to see that people from his different schools and youth groups came. It was actually quite amazing. The time went by very fast. In fact, I asked Lisa at one point what the time was, and when she told me, I was surprised how quickly the afternoon had passed.
