GEM’s Annual Conference went Virtual
We enjoyed GEM’s Annual Conference last week. The only drawback concerned the necessity of it being virtual. Covid continues to impact travel and opportunity.
Lisa and I enjoyed Annual Conference, hearing the health of the mission, being encouraged by the growth of the laborers for the harvest, and about the concerted effort to see disciples of Jesus made and multiplied.
One special event for me was the opportunity to hear one of the most gifted Christian Apologist of this day, John Lennox, address transhumanism. If you don’t know what it is, neither did I, but it concerns Artificial Intelligence and Artificial General Intelligence as it relates to humans.
Dr. Lennox also has a new book out on the topic entitled 2084. I found it insightful how he related this to both Jesus incarnation as well as the events in Revelation 12 and 13.
