GEM Annual Conference
For three days prior, I attended leadership meetings, which focused on preparing for seeing the Spirit of God move throughout Europe. The emphasis was on discipleship movements and implementing the best practices to that end.
We had the privilege of having Steve Smith take us through several Kingdom parables of Jesus and encourage us with the heart of God the Father to reach and disciple those outside His Kingdom. We also heard a fantastic perspective on portions of Acts. As far as annual conferences go, this was exceptional. Many were encouraged, challenged, and motivated to move forward and take some great risks.
We also had times of sharing what God is doing among us and discovered that God is really at work and many are coming to Christ through the efforts of GEM’s missionaries. Please pray that God would move throughout Europe and see many church planting movements begin in the major cities of Europe.
One last thing, please pray that God would bring catalytic church planting leaders to 7 major cities in Europe this year as that is a special focus in Doug’s area of New Initiatives.
