A Birthday in Prague
When I talk about Lisa, I get sort of mushy, so bear with me. She was approaching a milestone birthday (I won’t say which one, but you can guess), so we wanted to do something special. We drove to Prague to be with people who have become really good friends over our years in GEM and Europe.
We enjoyed a great birthday dinner for Lisa at a Brazilian Restaurant in Prague, where we had every kind of meat you could think of -- yes, it was all you could eat! It came in bite sizes and slowly, so you filled up with food before you knew it. All of it very tasty. While we ate we also played a mystery game where we all assumed identities and had to figure out who the “murderer” really was. It was a lot of fun.
We toured the downtown of Prague afterwards and saw the beautiful Christmas tree in the city square and lots of fun activity. It was great. Later we went back to the Nichols for cake and presents. It was a really great time, and yes, a very meaningful birthday for Lisa!
