A Picnic with Good Friends
Good closure with good friends frees the heart to engage well with people in a new setting. Megan planned a picnic to say good-bye to friends, good friends, before she leaves for college in Boston. She leaves Poznan in mid-July, and wanted to let her friends know just how much they mean to her.
Yes, Lisa and I were on sight, which is why we have pictures. We so enjoyed seeing many of Megan’s friends and especially seeing Megan engage with them to both hear their future and share hers.
It was a sunny day and the shade of the tree allowed for casual conversation apart from the heat. It was actually quite comfortable and a lot of fun.
We so appreciate you praying and continuing to pray for Megan as she travels off to college. Her parents will carry sadness because Megan won’t be with us, but joy for her new adventure.
