Doug Meets Lisa in Mijas
Lisa left Athens and flew to Spain, and I met her there in a town called Mijas, just outside of Malaga on the southern coast.
We had been asked to facilitate sessions for a new gathering in GEM for people in transition either to the field, or in a new ministry in their host country, or a new role within GEM, and even for those nearing retirement. PATH stands for Pause and Transition in Health.
It’s about making those changes well and handling all the relationships affected by those changes. Lisa had topics of forgiveness and discernment. I had topics related to difficult conversations and vital spiritual life. We were also there to provide spiritual direction for those who desired it.
Lisa and I enjoyed being with the people and the beautiful southern coast of Spain. Thanks for praying!
