The Life of a Radical Disciple
GEM started building community among its missionaries many years ago. One of the things that developed out of that was field retreats. They were a way to gather dispersed people to talk about ministry, life, and living cross-culturally.
This year we had the privilege of listening to a man who teaches in a Nazarene seminary in England and is an active church planter. His topic focused on following Jesus as a radical disciple. While this was only one aspect of the retreat, it challenge many people regarding their relationship with God and the ministry overflow. Lisa and I both loved it and were challenged by it.
We had a great time dinning, discussing, praying and resting with all of our great GEM field personnel. Thanks for your ongoing prayers!
