Fostering Collaboration and Cross-Pollination
GEM gathered people engaged in similar works, like business as ministry, anti-human trafficking, and the arts to foster collaboration and cross-pollination of ideas and strategies. The outcomes all needing to be shaped by people trusting Christ and multiplying disciples in these spheres.
Each group has people of varied experience and they can assist each other in their thinking. What’s more, they had the chance both to hear, modify, or critique each others’ strategies as well as adapt their own. It really was quite amazing.
CityReach had a presence because it has a very good track-record in its development. For me, it was a phenomenal learning experience and gave us some great ideas for our work.
