Catching Up With Nathan
I just got back from visiting Opava, Czech Republic. That is where Nathan and Vera live. I made a call to Nathan a long while back concerning church planting movements and unbeknownst to me, Nathan simply decided to give it a try. In the middle of huge questions about ministry and direction, he felt led of God to start simple Bible studies that would lead to disciples that multiply into other disciples and groups. Well, God was at work and those groups have moved into Brno, Prague, and might be entering Hradlec Kralove. All these cities are in the Czech Republic. It has been interesting to watch and fun to serve as a sounding board.
It has not all been easy. Nathan has seen groups come and go and disciples come and go, but growth seems to be happening and spreading. There is much to be in prayer over and wrestle with, but people are experiencing God in their obedience to the Holy Spirit through the Word of God. So the excitement grows.
I am grateful for a chance to work with Nathan and Vera as they pursue God’s call on their lives. Please pray for Nathan, Vera and their family as they seek to see disciples made in the Czech Republic.
