Good News!
Joe and Mary have now located in the U.S., but remain GEM’s Rome CityReach Strategy Leaders. Their intent focuses on training Italians and Americans in disciple-multiplication principles in the States, and then sending them into Rome for outreach purposes. When Joe and Mary lead the teams in Rome, they also connect with their national partners so that any fruit that results can be followed-up, disciple-making groups can be started, and the work progress through multiplication.
I had the fortune of meeting with Joe and Mary just prior to their departure for Rome. We had an excellent time discussing the plans for the training center, potential prayer and recruiting strategies, and the teams they were taking to Rome.
The news is good too. I have recently heard of breakthrough in a new neighborhood where many existing disciple-making nationals live. An owner of a cafe not only opened his place of business for an evening outreach event, but his heart has a deepening desire for Jesus. He even wants to avail his cafe for things God desires to do in the neighborhood. Thanks for praying.
