Mission Accomplished!

Unbelievable! Yes, this team from Trinity Christian School was kept very busy, and they had also the opportunity to see Jesus work in their lives and the lives of the Poles with whom they interacted. The GEM Poland team under Lisa’s leadership did an outstanding job.
At the debriefing session, I had the chance to witness to the work of the Spirit in the lives of those who came. And it was clear, this trip was very in step with what God wanted to do. These kids grew in boldness and excitement as they communicated their faith to the teens in the schools and during the small group discussions, with the elderly at the rest home, with troubled teens, and at the evening gatherings. “Little children, let us…love… in deed and truth” (1 Jn 3:18) rings loud in my ears as these kids were transformed by living missional-incarnational lives as they communicated the gospel and served the people here.
Beyond that, four teens from Lisa’s English classes came to know Jesus during that week! Yes, this was the fruit of the Lubbock team’s labors, but also of her work in the schools. Please pray for the follow-up of these students as the environment of a religious culture can complicate their growth in Christ. May these teens stay in step with the Spirit and follow Jesus life-long.
