Sharpening Disciple-making
We gathered in Athens 15 of our CityReach Strategy Leaders in Athens to retool and sharpen one another in movement-model disciple-making and church planting. This will become an annual meeting so that we can make breakthroughs by learning from each others’ experience in this form of ministry.
God had an amazing mix in the people who attended and He really moved. All who attended benefitted immensely from everything that occurred, but mostly they felt encouraged by their fellow practitioners. A number of the sessions were designed for the practitioners to comment and critique each others approach to winning their city for Christ. The wisdom God released in the room carried great power.
This past week may prove to be historic for both GEM and the Continent. God is on the move and the future looks bright! Thanks for praying.
